FEATURED MUSIC

Kenyan Christadelphian Choir
Simon Tarypally, September 2026

LATEST NEWS

Bro. Simon Tarypally from Hyderabad, India, founder of the Christadelphian Worldwide Praise and Worship Programme, and Bro. Jacob Mutunga, from Nairobi, Kenya, have shared an incredible video compilation of live recordings from choir services at a series of youth camps held from November ’24 through January ’25 across Kenya. Some of the Kenyan Christadelphians regularly support and attend the online Praise and Worship Programme, and it was truly a joy for Simon to take this journey, teach, lead music, and meet brethren in person whom he had previously gotten to know through online fellowship (along with so many others!) The choir video features an estimated 1750 voices, including many visiting from the DR of Congo, Nigeria, Uganda, and elsewhere. Please enjoy this beautiful music, which is marked by an infectious joy and an irrepressable love of our Lord!

The song “Called Out of Egypt”, was written by Sis. Dinah Pillion (of Ashira Music) and Bro. Levi Myers. The song and video have quite an unusual backstory, shared here in the words of Dinah:

“Called Out of Egypt” was inspired by the classes at our summer Bible camp on Manitoulin Island in Ontario, Canada. It was a whirlwind songwriting and recording session. We wrote both the lyrics and music for the song on the last day of camp, and five of us recorded it on location that night. It was a fun challenge to create something together from start to finish in a 24-hour period! Music has the incredible ability to inspire and bring us together in praise to God. We hope that you are uplifted by the message of this song!”

“Called Out of Egypt
Chosen by God to be Free
Choosing to suffer
affliction in God’s refinery,
That through the furnace,
we may be found to be
Filled with Praise and Honor and Glory!
At the appearing of the Lord Jesus Christ.”

Bro. Simon Tarypally from Hyderabad, India, hosts a weekly Worldwide Praise and Worship Programme. Under the Events section on this page, you can see the date and time the event takes place in your part of the globe – no math necessary! Please consider joining, even once, and experiencing what the programs are all about! They are a wonderful way to connect with fellow believers around the world, hear an uplifting message, and enjoy praise music together.

Here, you can expect to find regularly updated content, including Christadelphian music videos and notices of upcoming music events. We at the Tidings Magazine believe in the power of music to connect us with our God, with Jesus, and with our family in the Lord, and we genuinely hope you enjoy this new collection of resources.

This month, the featured video we share is a song called A Sound Mind. Composed by Sis. Nomes Scott for the 2025 Cambridge Ontario Young Peoples Conference, and based on 2 Timothy 1:7, the lyrics share an encouraging and constantly relevant message to “leave every weight, all sin and fear,” and “fan into flame/into flame/the gift of God,” namely “Power! Love, and a sound mind.” Listen, enjoy, and check back monthly for new featured videos!
